Local Power Inc. is offering American communities a “Revolution in Power.” They call it CCA 2.0.  Local businesses can provide much of the needed electricity. This is less expensive for cities, who no longer need to build extensive transmission infrastructures, and provides local employment. The resulting increase in local  jobs translates into a corresponding growth of the community’s tax base.

One Of The Biggest threats to Grid Stability

Local Power Inc compares one of the Biggest threats to grid stability to a traffic jam. It is a direct consequence of population centers relying on distant power sources. The nations power lines are full of electricity that travels hundreds of miles before it is used. When too much energy converges on a local substation, it overheats, there are black-outs or brown-outs, and costly upgrades are needed.
