Why Did the NDP Dump PowerBC?

While in opposition, the NDP party developed an energy strategy for BC, called “PowerBC”. It outlined a variety of options available and preferable to hydro-electric mega-projects such as Site C, in northeast BC, which will flood the Peace River valley, BC’s last untapped agricultural resource.

Push For A Fraser Delta LNG Terminal

Screen-shot-2014-03-18-at-3.43.47-PM1A controversial plan to bring more than 200 LNG carriers a year up the Fraser, to WesPac Tilbury Marine Jetty in Delta, is still very much alive.  The comment period ends on Saturday, December 20.  If you live in the area and want to learn more about the push for a Fraser Delta LNG Terminal, there are two meetings being held on December 14 and 16.
