Will Corn, Sugar Cane & Sorghum Benefit From Climate Change?

Screen-shot-2014-03-18-at-3.43.47-PMJennifer Cotton is one of the authors of a report that links the northward spread of C4 grasses, including the ancestors of corn, sugar cane and sorghum, to the changing climate after the last ice age. “They tend to thrive under warm, moist conditions, in addition to low levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.” So, on behalf of the west coast, I asked her,  will corn, sugar cane & sorghum benefit from climate change?
